  1. Program Description/Eligibility This Sweepstakes is open only to those legal residents of Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of Travel Alberta and any of its affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies and the immediate family (parent, child, sibling or spouse of any of the foregoing) or household members of each are not eligible to enter. Sweepstakes begins 12:01:00 a.m. MST on December 8, 2006 and closes 11:59:59 p.m. MST February 15, 2007.

Entries will be deemed to be made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. “Authorized account holder" is deemed as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. No responsibility is assumed by Travel Alberta for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries or any computer, online telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur in the processing, transmission or receipt of entries. 3. Winner Selection/Prize: Prizewinner will be selected in a random draw to be held on February 28, 2007 from among all eligible entries received prior to the closing date/time. The chances of winning are dependent on the number of eligible contest entries submitted. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. Prizewinners will be notified by email. Prizewinners must respond within 14 days following the date of attempted notification, to acknowledge acceptance of the prize. If there is no response after 14 days, an alternate prizewinner will be selected/awarded the prize. The prizewinner will be required to correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a time-limited skill-testing question to be administered by mail or by telephone. Non-compliance with this time period may result in disqualification of the prizewinner.

General Conditions: Entrants agree to abide by the terms of these official rules and by the decisions of the independent judging organization, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of Canada. All federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations apply. All taxes on prize are the sole responsibility of the prizewinner. Prizewinner will be required to sign a standard declaration and release form confirming compliance with the contest rules and acceptance of the prize as awarded. Non-compliance within this time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Entrants further grant to Travel Alberta the right to use and publish their proper name online and in print in any other media in connection with the Sweepstake. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Travel Alberta to use winner's name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law. By entering, participants release and hold harmless Travel Alberta, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this Sweepstake or prize won, including any travel related thereto. Internet: If for any reason the Internet portion of program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Travel Alberta which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstake, Travel Alberta reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstake. Travel Alberta assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries.
