Jasper is a family community, so we take good care of our younger visitors…if they’re having fun, so are their parents!

At Christmastime, the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge goes all-out to keep its guests, of all ages, involved in the glow of the season. There are family budget-helpful rates that even include skate rentals, and, for those with a little more to spend, a special four-night Christmas Package (kids under 18 stay free with parents).

Here are some of the special events for youngsters to look forward to at the ‘JPL’ during the Christmas season:

Bedtime Stories

Curl up by the Great hall fireplace for bedtime favourites (7:30 p.m. except Dec. 24, 25 and 31), cookies and milk.

Holiday Hangout/Movies

Fun for children of all ages with toys, crafts, board games, safe Internet surfing and video games. Movies daily at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Holiday Skating, Bonfire and S’mores Marshmallow Roast

on Lac Beauvert Dec. 23 and 27, and Jan. 1. Daily skating as well, with complimentary hot chocolate.

Scavenger Hunts
